The Synagogue Project

Join Robin Roy in a photographic exploration of the world of synagogues.

The Synagogue Project is a constantly evolving spiritual and artistic commitment to experience and share the many houses of worship created by Jews worldwide. Each synagogue reflects the historical vicissitudes of its congregation.

Currently The Synagogue Project includes photographs of fifty-six synagogues from thirty countries, on continents across the world. Robin’s large format photographs have been exhibited in the US on the East and West Coasts, as well as in Chicago. Her multimedia presentation is the opportunity to share unpublished images from more recent travels.
