The Tolerance Project

You have already helped us collect the bandaids in memory of children who perished in the Holocaust, now we need to record their names. Pizza lunch provided.

1.5 million children perished in the Holocaust and this Band Aid collection is done in their memory. The name of a child who died in the Holocaust will be put on each band aid and when 1.5 million are collected they will be displayed in the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles. This project teaches tolerance: Bandaids come in every shape, size and color, just like children, and they promote healing.

Teddy Glozman has taken this on as his Bar Mitzvah project in conjunction with a Freedom Writer Foundation school in Sacramento who have already collected 900,000 bandaids they have been collecting for 10 years. Teddy has collected over 40,000 and we want to put as many names on these as we can before his Bar Mitzvah in March. For any questions, please contact Liz Glozman at lizglozman@gmail.com. Thank you!
