Upcoming Yahrzeits

It is customary to light a Yahrzeit memorial candle at sundown on the evening before the actual Yahrzeit date. It is also customary to recite the Kaddish in observance of a loved one’s Yahrzeit. In honoring your memory, we would be pleased to extend an Aliyah or other honor to you during Shabbat services. If you would like to receive an honor, please let us know by calling the synagogue office. We welcome you for Shabbat Services at any time, and especially hope that you will be with us at Shabbat services preceding the upcoming memorial for your loved one of blessed memory. Our Friday night Kabbalat Shabbat service begins at 7:00pm, and Saturday morning Shabbat services are held at 9:30am
Remembering loved ones and honoring their memory in prayer is an ancient Jewish tradition dating back to Talmudic times. This observance is often joined with the mitzvah of Tzedakah in the form of a memorial contribution. If you wish, this would be an appropriate and meaningful opportunity to make a contribution to the synagogue or other worthy charitable cause.
Please indicate the individual the donation is in memory of and the fund your donation should be applied to in the additional information section on the final page of your donation.
